ONE OF SEVERAL JUDGING ROOMS AT SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY. HUNDREDS OF TABLES ARE NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE.
IT IS IMPOSSIBLEto explain what happens at the judgings each February in Syracuse but we've tried to do it with this Web site.
Obviously pictures can tell the story best so below you’ll find photos from the 24th, 25th and 26th Editions judgings. You’ll need Flash Player to view the images and if you don't have it on your computer you can download it free at www.macromedia.com/downloads/.
If a slide show is not playing when you want to view it please reload the page.
We've also prepared four Flash movies from the 24th Edition competition to give the viewers a quick idea of what takes place at Drumlins Country Club, home of the general judging for three days. It’s well worth the download time.
It's not easy to spend 14 or so hours a day in a room looking at the 15,020 entries. This is what it was like in the 2004 competition year. An entry can be from one page to hundreds.
Sit back and enjoy the shows!
These Movies May Help To Explain Event
EACH MOVIEwill open in its own window once it downloads. Please make sure your computer's sound is turned on since this is sure to be a "learning experience." Click on the below links from left to right — one at a time, of course. Please be patient since it may take a minute or two to download. Once downloaded, the movie will start to play using QuickTime or another player.
WE CAN get the judging done in 90 seconds. You don't believe us? We'll show you if you download the movie at the right by clicking on its icon. Heck your boss will think you're working on a graphic.
