Q: Is there a set number of winners each year?
A: SND and the judges have no quota as far as winners. This is true for all SND competitions. It’s possible not to have any winners, but most unlikely. We will have to wait until at least Feb. 19 to learn if there are any World's Best publications for 2006. That’s the day the rest of the newspaper competition ends. We have no reason to believe there will not be winners so please don’t assume that we know the results at this point -- we don’t. Judges had more than two more days of judging when this was written.
